Small Burial Boxes, A Photographic Story of Disposal

Small Burial Boxes is a photographic essay shot in 2019 at the Jaycee Park recycling center in Raleigh, NC. Throughout the entire year, I photographed the small recycling area within Jaycee Park, documenting the illegal dumping inside and around the bins monitored by the city's solid waste services. This work was presented in December of 2025 at the Duke Center for Documentary Studies.
